The Process

What happens next...
Step 1: Getting in touch
Feel free to give me a call on 0477 759 123 or email me at brodygroganphotography@outlook.com
Step 2: Pre Interview Catch Up
Sometime before the day of the interview I like to catch up with other family members and loved ones to gain a better understanding of the special person who'll be sitting in front of the camera.
It's a valuable opportunity for me as the interviewer to start piecing together all of the many details, so that when it comes time for the interview, the interaction flows more like a conversation with an old friend, rather than a bland, rigid set of questions and answers.
It's also a good time to start collating some heirlooms and photographs that will we woven into the story.
Step 3: The Filming/Interview
Firstly, I'll travel anywhere. I'd much prefer to meet somewhere that has a warmth and familiarity for the Interviewee. I'm not into studios and bright lights. A favourite lounge chair and a few cups of tea is the way to go.
There's no rush. I'll be able to move through the interview at a pace that's comfortable for everyone and we'll be able to pause for breaks. Even if that means conducting the interview over a couple of days.
Step 4: Editing and Post-Production
Once we have the interview on film, the editing process will begin. I may need to be in contact to clarify a few things such as; dates of events, naming people in photographs, etc.
You will have your complete package within 8 weeks of the interview.
